An EA is an automated trading script specifically designed for the MetaTrader platform. It monitors the markets 24/5 and executes trades based on pre-defined mathematical logic, removing human emotion and fatigue from the trading process.
Our current suite of professional EAs is developed exclusively for MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to take advantage of its superior execution speed and multi-threaded backtesting capabilities.
Yes. For the EA to monitor the market and manage trades, the MT5 terminal must remain open and connected to the internet. We highly recommend using a Virtual Private Server (VPS) to ensure 100% uptime regardless of your local internet or power stability.

Our EAs communicate with a secure server to verify your license and fetch real-time data. Without whitelisting our server, the MT5 internal firewall will block this connection, and the EA will fail to initialize.
To fix this:
Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.
Check "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".
Add exactly: https://docs.google.com
This usually happens for one of two reasons:
Missing URL: You haven't whitelisted https://docs.google.com in your terminal settings (see Section 2).
Incorrect Username: In the EA "Inputs" tab, the Username field must match your registration name exactly. If there is a mismatch, the EA will automatically remove itself for security reasons.
Blue/Colored: The EA is active and running correctly.
Grey/Sad Face: The EA is loaded but Algo Trading is disabled. Ensure the "Algo Trading" button at the top of your MT5 terminal is Green.
EAs only execute trades when specific mathematical conditions are met. If the markets are stagnant or high-impact news is pending, the EA may remain idle to protect your capital. Check the "Experts" tab at the bottom of MT5 to ensure there are no "Authentication Failed" or "Connection Error" messages.
Usernames are tied to your specific license at the time of purchase or rental. If you need to update your registration details, please contact us at robotradermalaysia@gmail.com.
The EA will automatically stop opening new positions once the license expires. It is your responsibility to renew the rental or upgrade to a lifetime license before the expiration date to ensure continuous market coverage.
